Three perspectives coalesce in Surface. The setting of the video work is a quintessential house party, lit in multicolor shades and amounting to an ethereal atmosphere. But rather than provide a cinematic presentation—that is, with a distinguishable storyline—Surface is a conjunction of stringless happenings: music performances, dance breaks, endless searching, and promenading around the function.
